The brief

à New York, designed
around the funnel.

A restaurant with a grandmother on its mind. The site is part menu, part memoir — designed in the spirit of a Riviera menu card, instrumented to take reservations on a Friday night when the bouillabaisse hits the pass.

We started with the funnel before the moodboard — analytics, search console, the conversion path as it stood, the lines where it leaked. The brief followed from the data: the metric that would move the business, and the page-level decisions that would move it on the metric.

Design and engineering ran together from sprint one. Astro, TypeScript, plain CSS — paired with a performance budget held to each commit, analytics and A/B framework wired in from the first build, SEO and structured data treated as engineering deliverables, not marketing afterthoughts.

We launched on Cloudflare, edge-served, sub-50ms response globally. The site has held a 100 / 100 Lighthouse score since release. The dashboards have moved in the direction we agreed on.
